busy weekend

Labor Day weekend was full of good and bad at our house.  The bad started on Saturday morning when, 15 minutes after waking up I was counting down the minutes until nap time.  Thankfully, Mommy got to have a nice, relaxing night out with a friend (this was part of the good) that ended with a late night stop at Walmart for milk.  I just have to throw this in...Walmart alone, at 10:30 on a Saturday night is a more than a little creepy (bad).  Sunday started off much better and included a pretty smooth shopping trip to Target (good) until we pulled up to the birthday party we were going to.  Cayden had neglected to tell me that he had to pee before we left Target and waited until I was parking the car at the party.  He wouldn't put his toys down long enough to push his button and unbuckle until he had to go so bad that when he finally did unbuckle he peed all over the floor of the backseat (bad).  Harper seems to have caught the cold that I have been fighting for the last few weeks making her crabby (bad), super cuddly (good) and not able to sleep well at all (bad).  Mommy getting Monday off of work for the holiday (good) was just what we all needed before a very busy week and included a great evening with friends (very good)!
